Rey, Cush, and Mr. Mathews

If you've watched any coverage of the senior bowl, you would know that the 3 linebackers from USC are one of the main talks of the town. They are clearly out practicing the other guys and standing out in the crowd as they dominate in the practices for the Senior Bowl.

It's especially great to see Clay Mathews turn some heads. He went from being a walk on to a potential 2nd round draft pick. It just goes to show that whatever you do in life, it's how hard you do when nobody is looking (practices) is when you really kick some ass in real life (game time)

Sanchez to make Mark in NFL

Wednesday, January 14, 2009 0 comments

Mark Sanchez only spent one year as a starter for the Trojans. That's fine. Matt Cassel spent many years holding the clip board and he's doing fine. A great Rose Bowl performance has really helped him boost his value. I think Mark is a great kid with an amazing arm and pray that he does well in the NFL. Hopefully in addition to that, he gets drafted really high so he can get a great contract and represent for the cardinal and gold.

Mark Sanchez was a highly touted QB coming out of high school. He was the #1 ranked QB of his high school class. I heard about him during his senior year and was amazed at his powerful arm. I was so eager to see Booty leave so I can see Mark get some playing time. Now, with him leaving I find myself with the same excitement to see Aaron Corp play. Of course he'll have to beat out two former #1 ranked QBs in Mustain and the incoming freshman Matt Barkley. This is definitely an exciting and nerve racking time as far as the QB goes at USC.

Well good luck Mark. Good luck next Trojan QB star. Read the full story

The guy is like a jumbo jet man! He's fast! He's Ginormous! Each time he comes flyin by, you hear a big BOOM! I'm not just talking about the whooping sound when he cracks a player on the field as seen below

I'm actually talking about his mouth too. Is it arrogance? Yes! Is it bad? No! He doesn't talk trash. He just lets people know how confident he is in his skills. That talk isn't a bad thing at all when he backs it up on the field.

A recent comment he made about Mark Sanchez that Scott Wolf posted on his blog saying, "If Mark leaves I'll play quarterback and we can run the spread" absolutely made me want to announce that he's officially this blog's favorite Trojan player for the upcoming season. Read the full story

Steve Sark = Tony Almeda

Now that Steve is in WA and taking apart Pete's staff and likely trying to steal his recruits as well, is it safe to say that Steve has become Tony Almeda and Pete is the badass Jack Bauer. Pete better phone in to CTU and yell out, "Damnit Chloe! I need backup" Read the full story

just go to the prom without me

Thursday, January 8, 2009 0 comments

I still remember feeling pathetic on prom night. I stayed at home and surfed the internet. My friends went. I'm sure they had fun. They even stopped by the house so I can see them all dressed up. Seriously, that was a bad idea. I wasn't that much of a loser in high school that I couldn't get a date. Well I don't think I was. I just didn't want to go. My girlfriend and I broke up a few weeks before prom, and I just didn't feel like asking anyone else. So no thanks. Go without me.

That's exactly the same attitude I have about tonight's BCS "championship" game. No thanks! Go on and play. I'm not watching. Why would I want to watch? The same way I didn't feel like any other girl was worth my time and money to go to prom with, I just don't think tonight's game is worth my time. I don't think either team deserved to be called the champion. Florida has great offense and good defense. Oklahoma has amazing offense and bad defense. USC is great on both sides and dominates on both sides and is clearly the better team. Even Obama said so on CNBC today.

Well it's sad that USC who would easily win prom king isn't even invited to the big dance. So if they're not going, then I'm not going. So, what else is on tv anyways? Read the full story

My wee wee is bigger than yours!

Like real men, there's no need to brag about whose is bigger. Please don't call up your friends and compare cause you can get your ass kicked for doing something like that. But like real men, it's just natural for us to settle disputes by comparing. From who can run faster in the playground. Whose dad can beat up someone else's dad. Who can do more push ups. Who can get more digits. Who can take more shots without puking which leads to who can get a higher score on the breathalyzer. When it comes to comparing which college football team is better this caveman method of comparing comes in to play, and it just shouldn't.

Now when I started writing this, I thought the Buckeyes were going to beat the Longhorns. Of course right on cue, they didn't. They couldn't stop them on 4th down. Then with 16 seconds left, Longhorns score the winning TD. Final score 24-21.

Now while I was still thinking the Buckeyes were going to win I was going to say...

Longhorns beat Sooners
Buckeyes beat Longhorns (well within inches they could've but they didnt)
USC whooped Buckeyes
USC whooped Penn State who beat the Buckeyes (note AP voters were ready to send Penn State to National Championship game till they lost a game against Iowa)

So with all that USC > Sooners
If Sooners > Gators
Then USC = Best Team

If Gators > USC
Then as most experts say on TV and as Vegas put it, USC and Gators are the top 2 teams and would make a great matchup. In addition Vegas has Trojans edging the Gators.

Anyway within inches in tonights game that method would've worked out and show USC is best. But we all know that doesn't matter. I don't have to pull out my wang to show how much manlier I am. I don't have to do a push up test or have my dad step in to the octagon to face off with your dad. It's just obvious USC is better. There's no need to go over who beat who and so on. USC dominates every team. They played one bad half.

So my question is. How can voters go on TV and say USC is one of the best out there and can hang with any team, but then vote them #5 on the polls?

Excuse the bad grammar, incomplete sentences, and perhaps lack of logic of this post. I'm really not paying attention and a little out of it. But I guess if this post makes no sense then it's a lot like the BCS. :) Read the full story

USC wins Rose Bowl!

I didn't bother posting it back when it happened. Why? Cause as happy as I am with a Trojan win, it just didn't really excite me. USC won as expected. The Trojans put on quite a show and Mark Sanchez was an absolute stud. The beating USC gave them in the 1st half was great to see, and USC showed that they truly are the best. Like Pete Carroll said, there's just nobody out there that can beat the Trojans. Read the full story
